Self-Guided Courses for Oregon Investors and Landlords

Statewide plus local rental law, plus the investor topics that sit next to it

video or reading, on your schedule, with CE included.

What these are

These are short, self-guided courses you take when the problem is already on your desk — not three Saturdays from now.

They cover the work Oregon investors and owners actually do: landlord-tenant law, Portland and other local overlays, getting a unit rented, running the tenancy, ending it, buy-and-hold landlording, finding and analyzing deals, rehab / flips / BRRRR, creative finance and notes, multifamily and commercial, development and construction, tax / entities / protection, and Oregon investor rules.

These courses are a fit if you:

  • Buy, hold, rehab, or structure deals in Oregon and want the local piece — not a generic national overview

  • Own or manage Oregon rentals and need the current statewide rule and the city overlay that changes the file

  • Hold an Oregon real estate or property manager license and need CE you can finish on your own clock

  • Are new to rentals and need a process you can follow the first time a vacancy, a turn, or an expired notice shows up

  • Already know the statewide statute and keep getting burned by Portland, a deadline, or a step you have not run in years

New courses keep landing on this page as they are finished.

How they work

Each course is a set of short modules you take in order.

  1. Watch the video or read the same lesson. You do not have to do both.

  2. Take a short quiz after each module. Unlimited retakes. Pass at 80%.

  3. Take the final test at the end. Pass at 80%.

Oregon continuing education for real estate and property manager licenses is included in the price. Counted time is the finished videos plus the quizzes and final test.

Typical pricing:

  • About 1 CE hour → $25

  • About 2 CE hours → $45

  • About 3 CE hours → $60

Why take one

Oregon owners rarely get hurt by the rule they already know. They get hurt by the city ordinance, the notice deadline, the screening step that is different than statewide law, or the deal structure they have never run before.

Live classes and monthly meetings only help if you can be there. These courses stay open. Open the module that matches the vacancy, the turn, the expired notice, or the deal in front of you, finish it, and go back to the file.

What you get that a blog post does not:

  • Statewide rule first, then the local overlay when a city actually changes the work

  • The same lesson as video or as reading

  • A quiz that makes you pay attention

  • CE already in the price if you hold an Oregon license

  • A process you can use on the next file, not a generic national overview

Education only. Not legal advice. Laws change. When a file is close, talk to an Oregon attorney.
