Thursday, September 9th: 4 Panel Discussion and New Board of Directors Voting
Panel topic: How to Properly Evaluate, Assess, and Comp Properties
This discussion will focus on techniques to discern what makes a good comp, how to comp, how to use a broker, and what drives comps. Scenarios and examples will be included. The discussion may also cover buy/fix/flip evaluations, wholesale vs. retail, buy/hold decisions, lot splits, pitfalls and common mistakes, primarily based on the experiences of our panel members:
Tracey Branche - broker
Mike Nuss - appraiser
Mason Halves - appraiser
Janet Rankin - real estate investor
NOTE: This meeting is the SECOND Thursday in September due to the Labor Day holiday. Come out to vote on your new Board of Directors.
All meetings (except workshops) are free for members, and first time guests accompanied by a current member in good standing.
Non-members are welcome for a nominal charge of $10 per meeting. This $10 can be applied to your membership if you join at that same event-What a deal!
